3rd Week EduTech Class

Mr Syukri explained clearly on how to do our Eportfolio. Then, we discussed all the 4 main issues that are brought up as technology becomes part of our lives. The issues are from social, educational, cultural and legal. Me and my fellow grouo member, Bi Yun presented about social aspect which makes me even clearer about the particular issue.

Other than that, we also were exposed to the invention iof 'Flip Classroom' . Basically flip Classroom is when the lecturers and explanation are in video forms which the students would watch at home . In school, they were meant to do classworks and ask teachers questions. Khan Academy is an example of a successful institution that uses 'Flip Classroom' as teaching method.

2nd Week EduTech Class

For the 2nd time in this particular module, I already have a clearer vision on what this class are about. Technology, technology, technology. In this class though, we learn the history of the invention of the computer as well as internet. Premicro computer era, micro computer era, internet era and ubiquitous access. I feel like I've learn more about technology and the development when we go into the history.

1st Week EduTech Class

In the beginning, I was still wondering what Education and Technology offers. However on the very first class, Mr Syuk had well-explained it to us about the module. The class becomes more interesting for me as I assumed, this class involves a lot of technologies uses. I love technology and i prefer using technology and modern gadgets rather than being traditional.

In the class, we were told to discuss on how do we think our future class will be like as in what do we expect and prefer as our teaching methods. Individually, I prefer fully technology used in which students would also write their essays using laptops instead of a paper and a pen. However, our group come into consensus that, handwriting are important as well as it helps teachers to know the students' varieties off personalities based on their writing . Some also argues that ideas comes better when we write than type. As the saying from one of our classmate spoke was" people who write tend to be more brilliant ".

In brief, in the first class, we asked ourselves on how far can we use technology in our teachings.
